DAVID EDDIE, PH.D., WINS THE 2017 EMERSON AWARD

The 2017 Eugene L. Emerson Award is awarded in recognition of an outstanding research paper by an Massachusetts General Hospital Fellow in Psychology.

This year’s recipient was Dr. David Eddie of the Recovery Research Institute for his 2017 paper with co-author Dr. John Kelly entitled “How many or how much? Testing the relative influence of the number of social network risks versus the amount of time exposed to social network risks on post-treatment substance use.”

Dr. Eddie presented his work in a talk entitled: "Getting to the Heart of Addiction Neuroscience: When Biobehavioral Regulation Goes Awry” at the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Grand Rounds in the famed Etherdome on June 8.
