Tingyee Chang coordinates a project on building infrastructure for recovery community center research and contributes to a study on mutual help organization participation among adults with alcohol use disorder. Her clinical interests are concentrated on substance use disorder, PTSD, and chronic pain, as well as their links to one another. She is broadly interested in improving access to health care for immigrant and other underserved communities.

She completed her M.Sc. in Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Oxford. She received her B.A. in Neuroscience and B.S. in Health Policy from the University of Southern California.
